Richmond is Virginia’s State Capital with a population of almost 1 million residents in Greater Metropolitan Richmond and surrounding counties, hosting approximately 5 million visitors each year. Virginia Commonwealth University
Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) is one of the Commonwealth of Virginia's largest universities and is situated on two urban campuses, each less than a 5 minutes drive from the State Capital. Estabalished in 1838, VCU employs almost 20,000 people and boasts a total enrollment of more than 30,000 students.
